Moringa oil is found in our cleanser. Our Moringa oil is sourced from a community empowerment program in Uganda.
Native to Northern India, the Moringa (Moringa oleifera) tree was said to prevent 300 diseases in Ayurvedic medicine. It was treasured by ancient Egyptians and used as protection for their skin from the ravages of desert weather. This drought resistant tree is now common across Africa.
Archeological evidence indicates that Moringa oil was used for skin preparations and ointments as early as Pharaonic Egypt, and its healing properties were documented by ancient cultures.
THE MIRACLE TREE
The Moringa tree has been revered for thousands of years as a miracle tree because it is incredibly nutritious, and the tree provides treatment for more than 300 ailments. Because of this many cultures call the Moringa tree the “Tree of Life”.
